Authoring and Customization Tools for Teachers
- Create your own content: Select content from a variety of resources (chapters, articles, assessments, etc.) and move them to any place in the book sequence.

- Drag and Drop Content Management: Easily move sections of the book around; dynamic chapter and section renumbering keeps page flow orderly and in sequence.
- Publishing Workflow: Includes full versioning and auto save features.
Content Engagement Tools
- Glossary: Hover pop-ups and full book references provide convenient access. Teachers can also add new definitions or enhancements to existing content with videos, images, etc.
- Highlight text and create notes: The annotation button shows/hides notes and discussions in the right-hand side bar.
- Class Discussion Thread offers shared highlights and notes:
- Any shared note can start a discussion thread in the context of the content
- Shared discussion threads and highlights can be hidden
- Instructor highlights and notes (blue) are always shown
- Highlight colors are optimized for colorblind accessibility
Assessments
- Add resources (including images, videos, links, equations, etc.) to questions, answers, and feedback using a rich editor.
- Specify how much each question is worth in points, including partial points.
- Add auto feedback to any answer (except Essay/Open Response).
- Organize assessment questions into question groups; apply different rules to each group.
- Select rules for question groups, tests, and flash cards:
- Randomize questions
- Show results after test
- Limit time and number of attempts
- Auto approval option (results are available to students immediately upon completion of assessment)
